Torque Settings   General Torque Settings
Rather than specify a torque for each fastener on your paramotor, only specific items are noted below. For all other fasteners we recommend that you determine the fastener size and apply the torque setting shown in the general torque settings table. We have endeavoured to cover all units of torque in general use, please be sure that you do not mix up the units. Where we have left a table cell blank, the number is either too large or small to be of use in those units. In this case please use another unit measure.

The torques given are for metric grade 8.8 fasteners and imperial grade "s". Fasteners which RAD supply are to these minimum standards. If you must fit a fastener which is not supplied by RAD please ensure for your own safety, and those arround you, that you fit an equivalent or better quality fastener (Do not be tempted to fit fasteners from "Retail stores" as unless they are marked with the correct standard they are likely to be inferior quality for the purpose).

For extra security a medium strength threadlocking fluid, such as LoctiteŽ 290 (or similar) may be used. Please follow the manufacturers instructions.

All torques shown below have the tollerance: +0% / -5%. To calculate the lower limit, multiply the number shown by 0.95.
